개인정보 보호정책 관련 주식회사 문화방송과 아이엠비씨(이하, "회사"라 합니다)는 인터넷 상에서의 개인정보 보호를 매우 중요하게 생각하고 있으며, 회원이 MBC Archive 사이트의 서비스(이하 "MBC 아카이브"라 합니다, www.mbcarchive.com)를 이용함에 있어서 회사에게 제공한 개인정보가 보호받을 수 있도록 최선을 다하고 있습니다.

이에 따라, 회사는 통신비밀보호법, 전기통신사업법, 정보통신망이용촉진 등에 관한 법률, 개인정보보호법 등 정보통신 서비스 제공자가 준수하여야 할 관련 법규를 바탕으로 개인정보 보호정책을 만들어 이를 준수해 나가고 있습니다. 본 개인정보 보호정책은 정부의 법률 및 지침 변경이나 회사의 내부방침 변경 등으로 인하여 수시로 변경될 수 있으며, 회사는 변경사항이 있을 경우 즉시 관련 내용을 홈페이지 초기 화면에 게시된 개인정보 보호정책에 반영하고 있습니다.

본 개인정보 보호정책을 통하여 회원 여러분께서는 수집된 개인정보가 어떠한 용도와 방식으로 이용되고 있으며 어떻게 안전하게 보호되고 있는지 이해하실 수 있을 것입니다.

1. 개인정보 수집 및 이용 목적

회원의 개인정보는 서비스 이용계약의 성립(본인 식별 및 본인 의사 확인 등), 서비스의 이행(대금결제 및 상품배송 등), 기타 새로운 서비스 및 신상품이나 이벤트에 대한 정보 안내(제공)의 목적으로 수집되어 이용됩니다.
또한, 회사는 회원에게 편리하고 다양한 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 회원으로부터 수집한 개인정보를 이용하여 회사가 제공하는 각종 서비스를 이메일, TM(텔레마케팅), DM(우편), SMS(핸드폰 문자메시지) 등의 방법으로 광고 또는 마케팅 활동을 수행할 수 있습니다. 이 경우 회원은 언제든지 이메일 등을 통해 원치 않는 서비스를 거절할 수 있습니다.

2. 개인정보 수집 항목

회사는 서비스 제공에 필요한 최소한의 개인정보만을 수집하되, 부가정보가 필요한 경우에는 부가정보를 요구할 수 있습니다. 회사는 회원가입 화면에서 다음과 같은 법인 및 개인정보 항목을 필수입력 사항으로 회원으로부터 제공받고 있습니다.

6. 개인정보에 대한 열람, 정정, 갱신 및 동의철회(회원탈퇴)

회원은 언제든지 등록되어 있는 자신의 개인정보를 열람, 정정, 갱신 및 동의철회(회원탈퇴)를 하실 수 있습니다.
즉, 로그인(LOG-IN) 메뉴에서 회원ID와 비밀번호를 이용하여 로그인한 후 회원정보수정 메뉴로 가시면 회원ID를 제외한 모든 입력사항을 열람, 정정, 갱신하실 수 있으며 회원탈퇴를 통하여 개인정보 제공에 대한 동의를 철회할 수도 있습니다.

7. 개인정보의 보유기간 및 이용기간

회사는 다음과 같이 개인정보의 수집목적 또는 제공받은 목적을 달성한 이후에는 지체 없이 재생 불가능한 기술적인 방법을 사용하여 개인정보를 파기하고 있습니다.
- 회원가입 정보의 경우, 회원 가입을 탈퇴하거나 회원에서 제명된 때 - 대금지급 정보의 경우, 대금의 완제일 또는 채권 소멸시효기간의 만료일 - 상품배송 정보의 경우, 물품 또는 서비스가 인도되거나 제공된 때 - 이용자에게 개인정보 보관 기간에 대해 별도의 동의를 얻은 경우 해당 기간 만료 시 - 소송이나 분쟁 발생 가능성이 있어 법적 대응을 위한 정보의 경우 해당 사유 소멸 시 단, 법령에 보관 의무가 규정되어 있는 경우 아래의 법령 기간 동안 보관하며, 이 기간 동안의 개인정보는 절대 다른 목적으로는 이용되지 않습니다. 그 후에도 계속 보유할 필요가 있을 경우에는 회원에게 이러한 사실을 고지하고 그에 대한 동의를 받습니다.

일시적인 목적(이벤트, 설문조사 등)을 위하여 제공받는 것임을 밝히고 입력받은 개인정보는 그 목적이 달성된 이후에는 회원의 의사에 따라 회원가입에 필요한 정보로 처리되거나 재생할 수 없는 방법에 의하여 디스크에서 완전히 삭제하여 추후 열람이나 이용이 불가능한 상태로 처리됩니다.
회원이 장기간 동안 회원으로서의 이용을 중단한 경우, 회사는 회원자격 정리기간을 정하여 사이트 화면 또는 이메일을 통해 일정기간 고지한 후 관련 회원의 이의 제기가 없을 경우 해당 회원의 회원자격을 해지하고, 이에 따라 관련된 개인정보를 삭제할 수 있습니다.

8. 개인정보 파기절차 및 방법

회원의 개인정보는 원칙적으로 개인정보의 수집 및 이용목적이 달성되면 지체 없이 파기합니다.
회사의 개인정보 파기절차 및 방법은 다음과 같습니다

가. 파기절차
- 회원이 회원가입 등을 위해 입력한 정보는 목적이 달성된 후 별도의 DB로 옮겨져(종이의 경우 별도의 서류함) 내부 방침 및 기타 관련 법령(‘7. 개인정보의 보유기간 및 이용기간’ 참조 부탁드립니다)에 의한 정보보호 사유에 따라 일정 기간 저장된 후 파기됩니다. - 동 개인정보는 법률에 의한 경우가 아니면 보유되는 이외의 다른 목적으로 이용되지 않습니다.
나. 파기방법
- 종이에 출력된 개인정보는 분쇄기로 분쇄하거나 소각을 통하여 파기합니다. - 전자적 파일 형태로 저장된 개인정보는 기록을 재생할 수 없는 기술적 방법을 사용하여 삭제합니다.

9. 개인정보 자동 수집 장치의 설치/운영 및 거부에 관한 사항

회사는 회원에게 특화된 맞춤서비스를 제공하기 위해서 회원의 정보를 저장하고 수시로 불러오는 '쿠키(cookie)'를 사용합니다. 쿠키는 웹사이트가 회원의 컴퓨터 웹브라우저로 전송하는 소량의 정보로 PC 하드디스크에 저장되기도 합니다. 회원이 웹사이트에 접속을 하면 회사의 서버는 회원의 웹브라우저에 있는 쿠키의 내용을 읽고 회원의 추가정보를 회원의 컴퓨터 상에서 찾아 접속에 따른 성명 등의 추가 입력 없이 서비스를 제공할 수 있습니다.

- 쿠키는 회원의 컴퓨터를 식별하지만 회원 개개인을 개별적으로 식별하지는 않습니다. 회사는 이 쿠키를 이용하여 회원이 방문한 각 서비스에 대한 방문 및 이용 형태, 이용 규모 등을 파악하여 더욱 더 편리한 서비스를 만들 수 있습니다. 회원은 웹브라우저의 옵션을 조정하여 쿠키에 대한 사용 여부를 선택하실 수 있습니다. 즉, 모든 쿠키를 다 받아들이거나, 쿠키가 설치될 때 통지를 보내도록 하거나, 아니면 모든 쿠키를 거부하실 수도 있습니다. 다만, 회원은 MBC 아카이브에 접속한 후 로그인(LOG-IN)하여 서비스를 이용하기 위해서는 쿠키를 허용하여야 합니다. 참고로, MBC 아카이브에 링크되어 있는 웹사이트들이 개인정보를 수집하는 행위에 대해 회사는 개인정보 보호의무를 지지 않습니다.

나. 쿠키의 설치/운영 및 거부
- 회원은 쿠키 설치에 대한 선택권을 가지고 있습니다. 따라서, 회원은 웹브라우저에서 옵션을 설정함으로써 모든 쿠키를 허용하거나, 쿠키가 저장될 때마다 확인을 거치거나, 아니면 모든 쿠키의 저장을 거부할 수도 있습니다. - 쿠키 설정을 거부하는 방법으로는 회원이 사용하는 웹 브라우저의 옵션을 선택함으로써 모든 쿠키를 허용하거나 쿠키를 저장할 때마다 확인을 거치거나, 모든 쿠키의 저장을 거부할 수 있습니다. - 설정방법 예(인터넷 익스플로어의 경우) : 웹 브라우저 상단의 도구 > 인터넷 옵션 > 개인정보 - 다만, 쿠키의 저장을 거부할 경우에는 로그인이 필요한 MBC 아카이브의 일부 서비스를 이용하는데 어려움이 있을 수 있습니다.

10. 개인정보 보호를 위한 기술 및 관리적 대책

회사는 개인정보 보호를 위해 기술적인 측면과 관리적인 측면에서 다음과 같은 조치를 취하고 있습니다.
- 비밀번호 등을 이용한 보안장치 - 백신 프로그램을 이용한 컴퓨터 바이러스 피해 방지장치 - 암호화(encryption)를 이용하여 개인정보를 안전하게 전송할 수 있는 보안장치 - 해킹 등 외부 침입에 대한 차단장치 - 개인정보 취급자를 최소 인원으로 제한 지정 - 개인정보 보호에 대한 정기적인 사내 정신교육 실시 회원ID나 비밀번호에 대한 보안 유지는 개인정보의 보호를 위해 매우 중요한 사항이며 회원ID와 비밀번호의 보안유지 책임은 해당 회원 본인에게 있습니다. 회사에서는 어떠한 경우에도 회원에게 직접적으로 비밀번호를 질문하지는 않기 때문에 회원 여러분은 타인에게 비밀번호가 유출되지 않도록 각별히 유의하셔야 합니다.

11. 목적 외 사용 및 제3자에 대한 제공(또는 공유)

회사는 회원이 제공한 개인정보를 회원의 동의 없이 외부에 공개하거나 제3자와 공유하지 않습니다. 다만, 다음 각 호의 하나에 해당되는 경우는 예외로 합니다.

① 회원의 동의를 얻은 경우 ② 회원이 회사 및 제휴사의 서비스를 별도의 회원가입 절차 없이 회사가 부여한 하나의 회원ID로 이용할 수 있도록 하기 위하여, 특정 제휴사의 서비스를 이용하고자 하는 회원에 대하여 회사가 보유한 해당 회원의 개인정보를 관계된 제휴사에 제공할 수 있습니다. (회원의 최초 이용신청 후 제휴사가 늘어난 경우에도 동일하게 적용합니다). 이 경우, 회원은 언제든지 이메일 등을 통해 해당 제휴사에 대한 개인정보 제공을 거절하고 관련된 서비스 이용을 중단할 수 있습니다. ③ 회사의 서비스 이용약관이나 유료서비스 및 이용권 이용약관, 기타 회사가 정한 서비스 이용 조건을 위반한 경우 ④ 서비스를 이용하여 타인에게 정신적, 물질적 피해를 줌으로써 그에 대한 법적인 조치를 취하기 위하여 개인정보를 공개해야 한다고 판단되는 충분한 근거가 있는 경우 ⑤ 기타 법에 의해 요구된다고 선의로 판단되는 경우 ⑥ 서비스 제공에 따른 요금 정산 및 상품 배송을 위하여 필요한 경우 ⑦ 통계작성, 학술연구 또는 시장조사를 위하여 개인을 식별할 수 없는 형태로 제공하는 경우 또한, 아래 각 호의 하나에 해당하는 경우, 회사는 회원에게 편리하고 다양한 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 회원으로부터 수집한 개인정보 중 이름, 휴대폰 번호, 이메일 주소 등 제한된 범위의 개인 정보를 제휴사가 이용하게 할 수 있습니다. 이 경우 회원은 언제든지 이메일 등을 통해 원치 않는 서비스를 거절할 수 있습니다. ⑧ 제휴하고 있는 인터넷 쇼핑 서비스 사업자, 커뮤니케이션 서비스 사업자, 제조업자, 도소매업자, 통신업자, 사업 서비스업자, 교육 서비스업자, 오락, 문화 및 운동 관련 서비스업자, 그 밖의 각종 전문 콘텐츠 사업자 혹은 비즈니스 사업자가 이메일, TM(텔레마케팅), DM(우편), SMS(핸드폰 문자메시지) 등을 이용하여 광고 및 마케팅 활동을 수행하고자 하는 경우. 회원의 사전 동의를 받아 전송합니다. 다만 회원의 거래 관련 정보 및 고객문의 등에 대한 답변은 그렇지 아니합니다. ⑨ 제휴하고 있는 신용카드, 할부금융, 보험, 보험대리 및 중개 등의 금융 및 보험업 또는 이와 관련된 서비스 사업자가 이메일, TM(텔레마케팅), DM(우편), SMS(핸드폰 문자메시지) 등을 이용하여 광고 및 마케팅 활동을 수행하고자 하는 경우, 회사는 제휴사에게 개인정보를 제공하는 것에 대하여 회원의 사전 동의를 받아 전송합니다. 다만 회원의 거래 관련 정보 및 고객문의 등에 대한 답변은 그렇지 아니합니다.

개인정보 침해를 이유로 피해구제를 받기 원하는 회원께서는 MBC 아카이브 개인정보 관리 책임자 또는 담당자에게 연락해 주십시오. 또는, 정부에서 운영하는 한국정보보호센터 내의 개인정보침해신고센터(전화 02-1336 또는 인터넷 http://www.cyberprivacy.or.kr)에 설치되어 있는 개인정보분쟁조정위원회에 중재 및 조정을 신청하실 수도 있습니다.

Regarding the privacy policy, Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation and iMBC Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") place great importance on the protection of personal information on the Internet, and make every effort to ensure that the personal information provided to the Company by members using the services of the MBC Archive website (hereinafter referred to as "MBC Archive", www.mbcarchive.com) is protected.

Accordingly, the Company has established and complies with this Privacy Policy based on applicable laws and regulations that information and communications service providers must observe, including the Protection of Communications Secrets Act, the Telecommunications Business Act, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization, and the Personal Information Protection Act. This Privacy Policy may be amended from time to time due to changes in government laws and guidelines or changes in the Company’s internal policies. In the event of any changes, the Company will immediately reflect the relevant details in the Privacy Policy posted on the initial screen of the website.

Through this Privacy Policy, members will be able to understand for what purposes and by what methods the collected personal information is used, and how it is safely protected.

1. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information

Members’ personal information is collected and used for the purposes of establishing the service use agreement (including identification of the user and confirmation of the user’s intent), performing the service (including payment settlement and product delivery), and providing information on other new services, new products, or events.
In addition, in order to provide members with convenient and diverse services, the Company may use personal information collected from members to conduct advertising or marketing activities for various services provided by the Company by email, TM (telemarketing), DM (postal mail), SMS (mobile text message), and other methods. In such cases, members may refuse unwanted services at any time by email or other means.

2. Items of Personal Information Collected

The Company collects only the minimum personal information necessary to provide the service; however, if additional information is required, the Company may request such additional information. On the membership registration screen, the Company receives the following corporate and personal information items from members as required input items.

The Company does not collect sensitive personal information that may significantly infringe upon members’ basic human rights, such as race and ethnicity, ideology and beliefs, place of origin and registered domicile, political inclination and criminal record, health condition, or sexual life.

3. Methods of Collecting Personal Information

The Company collects personal information through the following methods.
Website, written forms, fax, telephone, email, event applications, and provision by partner companies.

4. Consent to Collection of Personal Information

When registering as a member, if you select and click the "Agree" button for the Company’s Terms of Service, you will also be deemed to have agreed to this Privacy Policy. Accordingly, the Company collects personal information based on the information entered in the registration form.
Users who do not agree to the collection of personal information or who do not wish to register as members for such reason may select and click the "Do Not Agree" button for the Company’s Terms of Service in the membership registration menu. The Company does not provide membership registration services to individuals other than sole proprietors or corporate business operators. 5. Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing

For service improvement, the Company outsources personal information processing as follows, and stipulates necessary matters in outsourcing agreements so that personal information can be managed safely in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

6. Access, Correction, Update, and Withdrawal of Consent (Membership Withdrawal)

Members may access, correct, update, and withdraw consent (membership withdrawal) for their registered personal information at any time.
That is, after logging in with the member ID and password through the LOG-IN menu and going to the member information modification menu, members may access, correct, and update all input information except the member ID, and may also withdraw consent to the provision of personal information through membership withdrawal.

7. Retention Period and Use Period of Personal Information

As follows, after the purpose of collection or the purpose for which personal information was provided has been achieved, the Company destroys personal information without delay by using a technical method that makes restoration impossible.
- For membership registration information: when the member withdraws from membership or is expelled from membership - For payment information: on the date of full payment or the expiration date of the statute of limitations for the claim - For product delivery information: when goods or services have been delivered or provided - If separate consent has been obtained from the user regarding the personal information retention period: upon expiration of that period - For information necessary for legal response due to the possibility of litigation or disputes: when the relevant reason ceases to exist However, if laws and regulations prescribe an obligation to retain such information, the information is retained for the period prescribed by the laws below, and during such period, the personal information will never be used for any other purpose. If continued retention is necessary thereafter, the Company will notify the member of this fact and obtain the member’s consent.

<Protection of Communications Secrets Act>
- Login records: retained for 3 months Personal information entered after the Company clearly states that it is being provided for temporary purposes (events, surveys, etc.) will, after the purpose has been achieved, be processed as information necessary for membership registration according to the member’s intent, or be completely deleted from the disk by a method that makes restoration impossible, so that it cannot be accessed or used later.
If a member has ceased using the service as a member for a long period of time, the Company may set a membership cleanup period, provide notice for a certain period through the site screen or by email, and, if the relevant member raises no objection, terminate that member’s membership and delete the related personal information accordingly.

8. Personal Information Destruction Procedures and Methods

In principle, members’ personal information is destroyed without delay once the purpose of collecting and using the personal information has been achieved.

- Information entered by members for membership registration, etc. is transferred to a separate database after the purpose has been achieved (or to a separate document box in the case of paper documents), stored for a certain period in accordance with internal policies and other relevant laws and regulations for information protection reasons (please refer to “7. Retention Period and Use Period of Personal Information”), and then destroyed. - Such personal information is not used for any purpose other than retention, except as required by law.
B. Destruction Methods
- Personal information printed on paper is destroyed by shredding or incineration. - Personal information stored in electronic file format is deleted using a technical method that makes the records impossible to restore.

9. Installation, Operation, and Refusal of Automatic Personal Information Collection Devices

The Company uses cookies, which store and retrieve members’ information from time to time, in order to provide customized services tailored to members. Cookies are small pieces of information that a website sends to the member’s computer web browser and may be stored on the PC hard disk. When a member accesses the website, the Company’s server reads the contents of the cookies in the member’s web browser and finds additional information about the member on the member’s computer, thereby providing services without requiring additional input such as the member’s name upon access.

A. Purpose of Using Cookies
- Cookies identify a member’s computer, but do not individually identify each member. The Company uses these cookies to understand the visit and usage patterns and usage scale for each service visited by members, and to create more convenient services. Members may choose whether to use cookies by adjusting the options in their web browser. In other words, members may accept all cookies, have a notification sent when cookies are installed, or refuse all cookies. However, members must allow cookies in order to log in after accessing MBC Archive and use the services. For reference, the Company is not responsible for the privacy protection obligations of websites linked to MBC Archive that collect personal information.

The Company does not disclose personal information provided by members to the outside or share it with third parties without the member’s consent. However, exceptions are made in any of the following cases:

① Where the member’s consent has been obtained ② In order to allow members to use the services of the Company and its affiliates with a single member ID assigned by the Company without a separate membership registration procedure, the Company may provide the personal information it holds about a member who wishes to use the service of a specific affiliate to the relevant affiliate.
